Materia begins where language ends.

These works do not depict stone. They are stone, rendered in stillness, shaped by the same forces that carve coastlines and wear mountains into memory. Each piece in this collection is a study in what remains when everything unnecessary has been removed: weight, form, and the quiet that lives between them.

Materia is not decoration. It is presence.

Placed in a room, these works do not compete with the space around them. They deepen it. They ask nothing of you except that you slow down long enough to feel the silence they carry.
